Seems ok. Works on baremetal (non UEFI) AMD Ryzen5 3600, Mainboard MSI B450M Mortar Max with prop. nvidia driver from rpmfusion.org (GTX980 card), VirtualBox 6.1.4 from Oracle and Gnome-Desktop. Regression test passed (paxtest, selinux-dac-controls and libhugetlbfs skipped)
But i also (as @stklcode mentioned for 5.5.5) running into nv_drm_atomic_helper_disable_all warnings[1][2] during boot. But this does not seem to have any real impact on the system in usage.
5.5.7 got a lot of i915 patches. Dell Precision 5540 doesn't seem to be locking up anymore (6 hours and counting). Prior kernels locked-up within 10 min of boot and 1 min of starting PyCharm.

works for me: desktop 16GB Intel i7-3770 CPU & laptop 8GB Intel i5-2520M CPU Lenovo T420 (the desktop ran the performance test in under 10 minutes, but the laptop took about 110 minutes -- more than 10 times longer!) - all using the Mate Desktop Environment
It's been ~24hrs and all drm/i915 issues I've had have disappeared, not a single GPU hang with standard workload pattern, i.e. this is the best release in half a year at least.

CH341 serial communication was fixed in this kernel (broken in 5.5.5 and 5.5.6).
Default & performance regression tests PASS, "libhugetlbfs" & "paxtest" was skipped. Tested on Fedora 31 Workstation (x86_64), PRIME Z270-A, i5-7600K, 16GB DDR4, RX 580 8GB (MESA 19.2.8) & 970 EVO M.2.
Fixed the sleep issues related to SOF on Thinkpad X1C7

Fixes sound + microphone on ThinkPad X1 Carbon gen 7.
Works well on Lenovo T460p, no regressions spotted, still great performance overall as with other 5.5.x kernels.

Within an hour of me posting the previous comment I got drm/i915 #1179 again :) But I guess the rate at which it triggers is an improvement.
Seems to work fine so far. Default and performance regression tests also passed on both my systems:

No regressions, ThinkPad T495 (Ryzen 3700U)
T480s, i5-8250U, iGPU - no regressions so far
Dell Precision 5530, Intel 9260 wifi, Intel UHD 630, Openbox/Tint2 - working for 3 days, no obvious problems
