karma

Causes unacceptable performance regression by downclocking excessively when passive trip met -- see upstream bug https://github.com/intel/thermal_daemon/issues/233

Right … there was something; and unfortunately it is also needed on other machines to fix performance issues :-/

Would be nice if srinivas found a solution to your problem.

karma

No problem -- I can just hold at 1.9.1 on affected machines. I'll reverse the karma because otherwise it installs and works (I have other machines that don't exhibit the performance reg).
