In Fedora 31, pango has dropped support for the old bitmap font format, so we now ship OTB (OpenType bitmap) files now for all programs doing their text rendering with pango.
Please check whether you can still select Terminus in multiple programs (both using pango or not), and whether Terminus is displayed correctly.
Updates may require up to 24 hours to propagate to mirrors. If the following command doesn't work, please retry later:
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2020-619cd50145

With terminus-fonts-4.48-2.fc31.noarch, Terminus Medium 8 fonts works fine with xfce4-terminal-0.8.8-2.fc31.x86_64 and pango-1.44.7-1.fc31.x86_64. Thank you.
I have just noticed two presumably generated italic versions of
Terminus Medium
andTerminus Bold
in thegnome-terminal
font selection dialog. The "Terminus Bold Italic" appears to be a font with proper characters, while the generation of what should have beenTerminus Medium
orTerminus Italic
went wrong and only produces those hex number glyphs. The non-italic fonts
Terminus Medium
andTerminus Bold
which are actually inside theterminus-fonts
package do work, so please just ignore those italic fonts for now.I see four Terminus fonts. Terminus Medium, Terminus bold and Terminus bold italic working on gnome-terminal and gedit. One of the four shows those hex number glyphs. Is a rpm-package possible for ucs-miscfixed-fonts with correct spacing?
Looks fine for me
