Changed another user name and avatar without any issues.
I cannot change avatar on exisiting user.
Worked fine. Can create new user now with accountsservice pkg as dependency.
Concerning change of avatars, on my baremetal installation a it worked fine, but on the VM the avatars show only on the system settings window, and not on the login screen. I will try to change the sddm them window to test if it is the problem here.

User name is updated on login screen, but avatar indeed isn't (only in settings). I'm using sddm-0.19.0-1.fc34.
