downgrading to 5.4.2-2 makes it work again. However, I am unsure if lua is to blame here.

This broke Totem. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1956076
With this lua installed, running totem crashes in that way. With lua downgraded to 5.4.2-2.fc34, totem runs fine.
