Changes my terminal layout:
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
VTE 0.64.x does calculate the row height differently. It takes it directly from the height of the font returned by the font metrics. With the default Fedora Workstation font, Source Code Pro, the difference isn't as pronounced. In fact the lines are a bit narrower, if anything.
I haven't spotted any issues with frequent gnome-terminal usage. My eyes don't see any noticeable difference in font height (using the default Workstation font).
