The systemd rpm scriptlet issue still occurs. Currently, It prints more error messages than it did before.

I built and tested systemd-249.6-3.fc36 from git on Rawhide a couple days ago, and that worked, but this issue is still not fixed on the f35 branch.

It turns out selinux was getting in the way. I filed a bug for that (#2023332). For now, systemd just ignored the error on systems with selinux. Unfortunately this also means that the restart doesn't actually happen.

That would explain why it worked when I tested it in Rawhide. I tested it in a Podman Systemd container, because I was too lazy to spin up a VM; SELinux does not run inside containers.

I will test the new builds later today.
