Update to (hopefully) fix the upgrade for AX2xx series firmware

Update to upstream 20210919 release:

  • Split Intel wireless AX2xx series to a separate package
  • qed: Add firmware 8.59.1.0
  • Update Intel Bluetooth firmware AX211/AX210/AX201/AX200/9560/9260/8265
  • Add firmware for mediatek bluetooth chip (MT7922)
  • Update firmware for mediatek bluetooth chip (MT7921)
  • Update AMD SEV firmware
  • amdgpu: add firmware for Yellow Carp
  • rtl_bt: Update RTL8852A/RTL8822C/RTL8822C firmware
  • rtl_nic: update firmware of RTL8153C
  • Mellanox: Add new mlxsw_spectrum firmware xx.2008.3326
  • iwlwifi: add FWs for new So device types with multiple RF modules

After installing this update it is required that you reboot your system to ensure the changes supplied by this update are applied properly.

Not very happy to discover I had to install iwlax2xx-firmware manually to get my wifi back on my AX200, but works.

This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes

Well, this breaks intel AX200 wifi unless you install iwlax2xx-firmware as mentioned above (thanks tcit!) with:

This should get pulled in by either requires or recommends!

This update broke wireless on my Thinkpad T14s, which uses an "Intel Corporation Comet Lake PCH-LP CNVi" (AC 9560).

Since an AC 9560 isn't an AX2xx and the firmware was updated in "Update Intel Bluetooth firmware AX211/AX210/AX201/AX200/9560/9260/8265", I guess this is a different issue than what others are seeing.

Rebasing from Silverblue 35 testing to the normal Silverblue 35 beta fixed it (by downgrading the package to non-testing).

I wonder if < should have been <= instead, and that caused this issue of iwlax2xx-firmware not being pulled automatically for people (and perhaps also missing Provides).

"iwlax2xx-firmware" package isn't installed by default when this update is installed, which breaks WiFi on PC's equipped with Intel AX200 chips. It took me some time to figure this out. Bluetooth does work. Just WiFi doesn't.

Works fine here, since I have a Qualcomm WIFI, so not affected. Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter driver: ath9k

This causes iwl7260-firmware to be removed for iwlax2xx-firmware, which breaks systems that need that firmware.

I just took a blind shot, I don't actually know what you intend to do. I just noticed the Obsolete flag, and if you really intended to replace iwl7260 with iwlax2xx, then it seemed to be used incorrectly. But @ngompa complains, so I'm confused.

Anyway, here's a guide for doing package replacements correctly (if that's what you intend to do), and it seems I was wrong anyway...

Got hit by this AX2xx package split from a f35 (early than beta) install on a new device. Thanks this new package was added to comps at https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/c/1ea86d6de6f39ea087a78b48b147270b9c828616?branch=main

If updates from f34 (if ever relevant) matters, maybe it's possible to use a Recommends on iwlax2xx-firmware from linux-firmware ? so it should be installed by on updates (or upgrades to f35).

Both network controllers are working on fedora 35 with updated package: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6 AX200 Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller I225-V

BZ#2010250 linux-firmware doesn't pull in iwlax2xx-firmware which breaks wifi on AX2XX

This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes

@kwizart the recommends from the iwl7260-firmware will provide that upgrade path, if iwl7260-firmware wasn't already there it wouldn't have worked anyway because the other firmware was part of iwl7260-firmware not linux-firmware.
