This update from the upstream glibc 2.35 release branch enhances localedef to be able to compile the C.utf8 locale out of the box (#2058224). It also addresses some corner cases in the x86-64 string functions (swbz#28896). sysconf(_NPROCESSORS_CONF) and sysconf(_NPROCESSORS_ONLN) returns an approximation of the process count based on the affinity mask in case the /sys and /proc special file systems are both unavailable (swbz#28865).
