This bug was easily reproducible on 5.17.1, but I have yet to see it on 5.17.2 after trying pretty hard for some 30 minutes. Looks like it's been resolved in 5.17.2.

*** I’m intensely curious as to the reason for why sedna seems to randomly fluctuate between short (normally under 11 minutes) & extremely long (100+ minutes) elapsed times for the performance test!
Works for me.. It's been running for a few hours now with no issues noticed. The enabled Default and Performance tests pass OK.
AMD 965, x86_64 Work Station (legacy BIOS) SSD's > RAID1. Plasma DE from Zawertun's COPR. nVidia GT1030 card using nVidia RPM's from RPMFusion (510.60.02)
running on 2 PCs, laptop and 3 Intel NUCs without any problems. Passed default and performance tests on NUC6i5SYK.

5.17.x kernel causes audio cutouts in some devices, due to a memory allocation error, a workaround and patch exists here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/issues/2272
