As the automated test results show, this seems to break FreeIPA replica enrolment. The failure reproduced four times across the two openQA instances, so it seems consistent. I'll look into the cause tomorrow.
The problem is in the dogtag-pki's python code. We created https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2112243 and https://github.com/dogtagpki/pki/issues/4081 to track it
My fix was merged into Dogtag upstream.
Simon, could you please talk to your collaborators from upstream and ensure that python-ldap no removes features in patch releases with important updates?
Thanks, I've backported the dogtag-pki fix: FEDORA-2022-94eb716c5c
I'm really sorry it has happened! I'll keep a closer eye next time. Thank you!
