Thanks for working on this.
After applying the update, I noticed that my GNOME Terminal's font color had changed to gray, or the default text is thin enough to appear gray against a black background (example).
Digging a bit further, it looks like Source Code Pro has replaced the default monospace font (no idea which one it was), probably due to the updated 61-adobe-source-code-pro-fonts-fontconfig.conf file.
Was this in any way intentional?
I can get used to the change, but I have a feeling people are going to complain.
It would be nice if someone could double-check, but the issue above could be due to my system configuration, which I don't remember ever touching.
fc-match Monospace reports Bitstream Vera as the default Monospace font (I would have never set that on purpose):
$ fc-match Monospace
VeraMono.ttf: "Bitstream Vera Sans Mono" "Regular"
In GNOME Tweaks, my default Monospace font was Source Code Pro regular. Switching from that to Noto Sans Mono regular I got back the previous appearance of my Terminal.
Hah, sorry - openQA actually caught this, but I just figured it was an intentional change and updated the needle rather than filing a bug :( My bad, sorry!

Works great! LGTM! =)
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
My Terminal font suddenly looks terrible. I'll file a bug ASAP and link it here, adding -1 karma to prevent autopush.
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
Here's the bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2235254
Same problem here. Some mails in Thunderbird look different, too
Ok people, I've identified the issue. I'm doing a scratch build, testing then pushing the update ASAP.

OK that explains it.... I'll stop moving all my terminals and editors to another font given the fix is already available.
