openQA is showing several crashes here. It looks like gnome-initial-setup consistently crashes on startup - that causes the
install_default_update_liveandinstall_default_update_ostreefailures. On thedesktop_browserfailure it looks like GNOME crashed back to GDM shortly after login.This update has been pushed to testing.
Many actions including opening settings and opening firefox lead to a crash of gnome-shell.
Tested on Silverblue 38.20230309.0 from
fedora/38/x86_64/testing/silverblueBoots fine but as soon as I open an app like Firefox. It crashes the entire gnome-shell.

crashes GNOME 44 RC when opening Firefox and various GNOME software in both of todays composes (when i tested in Virtualbox)

New mutter build should address the crashes (and problem with g-i-s starting up). Let us know if it still crashes for you.
New mutter build (comparing mutter-44~beta-3 to this new build) breaks Fullscreen mode on most Ren'Py games and possibly more SDL-based games. Games will flicker or behave weird on switching from windowed to fullscreen. Starting directly to Fullscreen makes them invisible with no way to recover. -> https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2678

generally functional, but seems that Night Light is broken for me, settings say it is unavailable (was working with 44.beta)

This now works as intended with todays updates to 44 RC4 :)
I currently mutter-44~rc-3.fc38 and it works great now!
