I replaced my custom pd-mapper/qrtr packages with the ones now in the fedora repository and they appear to work fine WRT enabling the battery status. My one significant comment is that pd-mapper should probably have a service file that autostarts since the majority of people installing it are likely going to be on QC based machines.

So, yes it works, although i've seen it glitch out and claim I've got 3 batteries already, but without reproducting/debugging it I'm not going to blame it on pd-mapper.
