I noticed that the module is rtw_8822bu unstable in my setup.

@operkh your messages look different to the ones in the bug report, I think you may be seeing a slightly different issue?

User Icon adamwill commented & provided feedback a year ago

@operkh did kernels before 6.4.11 boot for you?

User Icon thebeanogamer commented & provided feedback a year ago

Appears to be NVME-issue free on XPS 13 7390 with i7-10510U

User Icon operkh commented & provided feedback a year ago

Hi @adamwill No, a can't boot any 6.4 kernel before 6.4.11 - have the same I/O timeouts and errors.

No problems with 6.2 and 6.3 kernels.

Tried to add nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0, disable TPM 2.0 in bios but it didn't help

User Icon adamwill commented & provided feedback a year ago

@operkh OK, so you have a different issue and there's no point voting against this update, because you can't boot with the kernel that's currently stable either.

Have you filed your issue downstream or upstream anywhere?
