This appears to be out-of-date already. Firefox from mozilla.org has updated direct to 125.0.1 (rather than 125.0).

This update has been pushed to stable.

Interesting https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/releases/ is not even showing 125.0.1 :)

What I also find interesting is that I can't see 125.0 at all. Also not found under: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ Checksums of firefox-125.0.source.tar.xz differ from firefox-125.0.1.source.tar.xz. Maybe this was a prerelease?

125.0 was an update that was skipped due to a high-severity quality issue, 125.0.1 is the latest. Sources below.

https://groups.google.com/a/mozilla.org/g/announce/c/b-53zsUB62Y/m/Fz1C9tO7AAAJ https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/125.0.1/releasenotes/

We should kick off new build then

Following the link on markec's bug report, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2275628 (comment by Andre Robatino 2024-04-17 20:11:37 UTC), it appears that the bug relates only to macOS (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1890764), so I think we're good.

Okay, what about AV1 and other bit mentioned in the changelog (features, fixes)? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/125.0.1/releasenotes/

The only difference between 125.0 and 125.0.1 is the fix for macOS updater; AV1 and other bits were already in 125.0.

You can check all the gory details here: https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-release/pushloghtml?fromchange=FIREFOX_125_0_BUILD1&tochange=FIREFOX_125_0_1_RELEASE

All good then +1. Cheers

Working well.

There is now a 125.0.2 upstream for a couple of days and it still says "We’re still preparing the notes for this release". There are koji builds from 2 days ago for all except F40 which failed.
