I waved this as it should work with the latest bootc
If it's waiting on another update, you can wait for that update to go stable then run the test again. The problem with waiving it is we run this test on other updates too, so if you waive it and it's not fixed, this same test will start failing on every other update.
Now ostree build and installer build tests are failing on all F42 updates. Please look into this and fix it, I'm on PTO, don't want to spend my day on this.
Sorry, I guess there was a way to do this as a single update unit and I didn't know. I was expecting very brief transient breakage. But the code is structured as build conditionals that are flipped on in separate commits, so if we need to revert that's not hard to do.
That said, is it not reconciled now?
Trying to look myself I see that https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/3083444# is a recent test that passed.
See https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Package_Update_Guide/#multiple_packages for how to do multiple package updates.
I don't know if or when this was resolved, I just did a morning check and saw a bunch of failures, since I was on PTO I did not look into it further, just asked you to take a look at it and alerted nirik to the situation too. I'm re-running some of the failed tests now to see if they pass.
