Works.
Works well for me.
This should probably include another rebuild of rust-gst-plugin-gtk4-0.12.5 though in order to enable dmabuf passthrough (which depends on building against Gst 1.24) - just like the rebuild of gtk4 (which after the rebuild here supports passthrough in the video demo now).
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
@treba a rebuild alone will not fix it - the feature is not enabled yet: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-gst-plugin-gtk4/pull-request/1
Oh right, thanks.

FYI: It looks like clapper v0.5.2 currently crashes with GStreamer 1.24 when playing some video files. I'm working with upstream to debug the issue. Disabling autopush for now.
Testing a bit more, I found two regressions - not sure if they should block the upgrade though: 1. The gnome-shell recorder can't use the fast "dmabuf" sharing any more. This is can result to worse performance when the GPU is under pressure, notably when recording gaming. This will be fixed by Pipewire 1.2 that includes https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/merge_requests/1881. General functionality is not affected. 2. clapper (0.5.2), which uses Gstreamer internals quite directly, crashes for me after the update when a hardware decoder is used. (update: I see that this was just reported)
It's working OK here.
We have discussed what to do about two confirmed regressions within the Multimedia SIG and with GStreamer upstream and have determined it not to be a severe enough issue to hold back this update.
Clapper 0.5.2 is crashing with GStreamer 1.24 when playing some types of video on some hardware due to issues in its custom GStreamer integration. An update to version 0.6.0, which contains a workaround for the crash, should address this issue. The broken DMA-BUF support in the PipeWire GStreamer element should be fixed by backporting some changes that are already queued for PipeWire 1.2 to the 1.0 branch.

Due to the conflicting Qt6 update that was not coordinated with us, qt6-qtmultimedia needed to be rebuilt again. Since this already resets the karma votes and the clock for being able to push this update to stable, we will update to GStreamer 1.24.4 while we're at it.
