hangs with can't find filesystem on bare metal, old kernel works
Works fine. Regression test suite passes.
Working fine here.
Problem when restarting the PC, the launch crashes before being able to enter the password of the luke encrypted partition of the second disk (with the partition/home). With kernel 6.8.10, no problem.
it is possible that newer version of dracut can cause boot failure https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2281423 is dracut 060 available somewhere?
Available from koji, signed packages at https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/dracut/060/1.fc40/data/signed/a15b79cc/ . (Generally koji packages get signed shortly after they get into Bodhi, the signed packages are available using an URL similar to this one even if they're not in a repo anymore.)
@js314592 you should also be able to downgrade from the command line with
then run
dracutagain for 6.8.11.Might want to set
enabled=0in/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-archive.reposo it doesn't get considered by default.LGTM on Framework 13 AMD 7840U. UEFI Secure Boot enabled, luks with btrfs, GNOME on Wayland.
boot is successful with dracut 060
LGTM
