@markec : Confirmed, in /lib/modules I have dirs going back to 6.8.5-301.fc40.x86_64 with a date of May 9.
@robatino ~ yep same issue here, just cleaned them all out.
Ha! Same here. I even had a whole bunch of 5.x kernel artefacts leftover in that directory. Never bothered to look... 🤦♂️
