@pvalena it'd be great if you could help update them, or at least send an explanation to test@ or the discourse quality-team tag of what's outdated in them.
This seems like potentially a disruptive update to land in Fedora 40 on day 0, especially given reports like https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/test@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/PFOPT7YEEW2YGWEOOHLGTREBLPUQ6DIY/ . Is it really appropriate for a soon-to-be-stable release?
Eveything has been working great

somehow commented on the wrong thing with fedora easy karma. can't find a way to remove my karma.
Balancing karma back.
@adamwill I agree having updated test cases is great, but I've just noticed that they even exist. Sadly, they're from 2011, Fedora 12, and most are even not relevant; some want users to edit
/etc/grub.confetc, so I'd advise against that. I'd probably drop most of them- but I need to investigate further.WRT the disruptive update- I do not think there's anything disruptive in this update - it's primarily focused on bugfixes. The error on the ML seems not related to dracut (I've responded there). Please let me know if there are any issues (ideally file a bug).
