Add a patch to prefer Appstream metadata from 'swcatalog' directories (like in the /var/cache/) over the app-info directories, if both exist. That can happen for example due to an upgrade of the system. The PackageKit pre-1.2.8 used to save the data into the app-info, while the PackageKit 1.2.8 saves it into the swcatalog, but it does not remove the old app-info content, which the gnome-software reads for backward compatibility. As the app-info is not updated any more, the previous gnome-software could show stale data, instead of the current data.
Updates may require up to 24 hours to propagate to mirrors. If the following command doesn't work, please retry later:
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2024-e2a643cf18
