Whilst I have an inordinate number of tabs on my FF RPM install, only around 20 are actually open. This has never been a problem since before the rewrite of the engine. And yes, I am doing something about it! The 140.0(.0) build was fine. However, the 140.0.2 and later have been extremely unresponsive. Reloading pages and the Bitwarden addon are really badly affected.
[I don't want to post a second neg karma so this comment which should have been attached to the negative karma, which I'm having to post from Chromium because FF is appearing to hang, is posted as neutral].
Please report such bugs at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ component Core : Widget/Gtk. You should test upstream binaries, various setup etc.
