Most of the failures here seem to be a real problem, not branching artifacts. It seems the system just doesn't boot successfully after installing this update, it gets stuck at the boot screen.

The graphical session fails to start. I can reproduce locally as well, when I use the generated Workstation Live image that contains this update, and install it. (The actual installation starts fine, interestingly). The image is here (will be cleaned up in a few days):
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/3607214/asset/iso/03607123-Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-FEDORA-2025-2dde5b6cbc.iso
In the installed system, I see this crash during boot:
So it seems that
gnome-initial-setupservice is missing for some reason, which crashesgnome-session.nmontero edited this update.

Installed this, reboot, and GDM freezes the system upon loading, making the system unusable as it blocks even switching to a tty. Had to chroot and downgrade back to the 49-alpha packages
if youre stuck you can add the number "3" to the end of the second line in grub options to boot directly to tty.
correction on the last comment, press e and add "3" to the end of the linux line in kernel commands I was able to get to desktop using SDDM

Looks like a selinux error here, after setting it to permissive gdm works. Here's the error:

Tomorrow is Bodhi updates-testing activation point, and therefore we need to unpush this update ASAP, otherwise it will break the system for all current F43 Workstation users tomorrow. Please everyone give -1 karma, we need -3 total.
Per above.
This update has been obsoleted.
