The problem in BZ#2372455 still exists.
I have reinstalled Macaulay2-0:1.25.05-1.fc42.x86_64 for testing this upgrade (because I have removed it because of BZ#2372455). From the list of packages in this update I have currently installed: Macaulay2-1.25.05-1.fc42.x86_64 libnormaliz-3.10.4-4.fc42.x86_64 normaliz-3.10.4-4.fc42.x86_64
