@jonathans same experience on KDE with FC43 with respective Firefox build, have not tried anything apart from YouTube, but it crashes very often, so I had to roll back to 143

Yes, looks like GCC 15.X miscompilation bug as we have such crash reports from Fedora only and started with GCC 15.x update at Fedora.
I think I can reliably reproduce the breaks using this extension, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/read-aloud/. The WebExtensions process core dumps after a couple of minutes of usage and then constantly on every attempt to use it.

Playing videos produced a crash after 7 minutes (crashed with the Quit/Restart dialogue).
I also have Firefox Beta from the Mozilla site installed (testing done when it was at vsn 144.0) - and that does NOT crash.
I had installed firefox-144.0-1.fc42 earlier and, playing videos, that crashed twice in 10 minutes. I reverted to firefox-144.0-1.fc42.
Seems to be a serious issue with this Fedora version. I can't remember the last time Firefox crashed and we're talking years.
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
I shoud clarify that the platform is cinnamon on X. Everything up to date as of 2025-10-14. Kernel 6.16.10.

Whoops! The end of that third sentence above should say: "I reverted to firefox-143.0.4-1.fc42." (NOT firefox-144.0-1.fc42!)
Is there a bug number for the above crashes?

Working with Jakub to fix the gcc build.
no regressions noted

Martin @stransky, The f43 builds are failing in the mock stage very early. So there is something else missing in reg. f43 builds
ah, I guess f43 needs a build override for nss
This update has been obsoleted by firefox-144.0-3.fc42.
@stransky, I just extended build override for NSS in F43. If you kick the build off now, it should work.
