Unfortunately, despite some recent related patches, amdgpu kernel module power management is still broken, at least for some AMD GFX7:

...
[ 7.275103] [drm:amdgpu_device_ip_set_powergating_state [amdgpu]] *ERROR* set_powergating_state of IP block <vce_v2_0> failed -22
...
[ 54.421091] amdgpu 0000:01:00.0: amdgpu: failed to send message 146 ret is 0

leaving the MCLK stuck at a minimal speed, and making the module unusable, except for the least demanding workloads. This did not happen with 6.12.x.

no regressions noted

In Fedora Rawhide, I've been experiencing two issues:

1: Pointer issue in GNOME menu: Sometimes the pointer disappears when opening the system menu (to select network, Bluetooth, etc.).

2: Bluetooth earbuds issue: When interacting with Bluetooth earbuds (e.g., connecting/disconnecting), the user session unexpectedly logs out.

Neither of these issues occurs with the previous kernel (kernel-6.13.5-200.fc41). I'm still investigating whether this is a kernel regression or something related to GNOME 48 beta.
