on gnome, it is just black screen
After updating to mesa-25.0.1-2.fc41 on my system (Fedora 41, kernel 6.13.6, Intel HD 520 integrated GPU, 6th-gen i5), some bugs occurred. First symptoms:
Boot: A brief log message flashes during startup.
Login Screen: The session selector (⚙️ gear icon) is missing, preventing Wayland selection.
Session Behavior: The system defaults to X11 instead of Wayland, breaking touchpad gestures like three-finger swipe.

Works for me..
The problems with AMD GFX7 and probably other hardware mentioned in FEDORA-2025-ef64588235 and https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/12660 are still present in this release.
Looks good on RX 7900XTX
This update has been pushed to testing.
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
Works great with Radeon Vega 11! LGTM! =)
Same Issue as reported in:
FEDORA-2025-ef64588235
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/12678
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
no regressions noted
Works.
No problem on Intel HD 4600 iGPU
No problems found so far along with the freeworld packages from RPM Fusion on a 7900 XT.
Working fine on:
Works on RX 9070
Works fine on Intel UHD (Kaby Lake)
Seems no regressions since last one
No regressions

Hi @siegf,
Please report the issue upstream (once GitLab is available again): https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/
The issue template on GitLab will ask you for useful information. You'll need to attach a coredump: https://fedoramagazine.org/file-better-bugs-coredumpctl/
That'll contain information about the problem.
Still makes some AMD systems (like AMD A8-7600) unusable, as 25.0.0. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-ef64588235#comment-3986595
