- conflicting requests
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
@anotheruser : Wouldn't it be better to explicitly mark them as conflicting, to save time and avoid confusion? (Unless, of course, they only happen to interfere with one another because of a conflicting dependency, and that could change later.)
why confusion? DNF prints that
pipewire-plugin-jack requires jack-audio-connection-kit (installed jack server)
while
pipewire-jack-audio-connection-kit conflicts with jack-audio-connection-kit
pipewire-jack-audio-connection-kit is a jack server implementation on top of pipewire.
Makes it pretty difficult to have both installed.
Unless I have misunderstood something.
Recommends are not taken into account in koji builds, so if pipewire-j-a-c-k-libs suddenly starts taking precedence in F41 (so far it has not) then it will break in the same way F42+ did. This needs to be a hard dependency.

You can install and run both. pipewire-jack-audio-connection-kit is not actually a server (pipewire is the JACK capable server) but a new implementation of the jack client library. So you can install and run both jack and pipewire and depending on what client library is used, it goes to one or the other server.
This is, for example, interesting if you want to run jack2 as a pipewire backend (because of the maturity of jack2 and additional driver support).

This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
Works (did not encounter dependency problems described above).
Works great! LGTM! =)
no issues
@cmorris: I think you can't install pipewire-plugin-jack and pipewire-jack-audio-connection-kit.
They are mutually exclusive

Looks OK here.
no regressions noted
Seems no issues with deps then?
