For me under Xfce QT5CT crashes on exit (every exit, even if you do nothing).
On Fedora 42 the crash isn't happening.
I cannot reproduce in a F41 container. Running qt5ct there it doesn't crash on exit.
no crash in qt5ct in F-41 XFCE VM (on ppc64le) for me
works for me on Fedora 42
In case the crash isn't limited to just my system I used the abrt mechanism to file a bug.

Maybe the logs will provide a clue.
