Update to version 3.4.1 as part of https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Taskwarrior3
Note that if you are using task2 on Fedora, you will need to replace it with task manually as this update will not automatically updated task2 installations:
sudo dnf swap task2 task
Or you can uninstall task2 and install task:
sudo dnf remove task2 ; sudo dnf install task
Once you have installed taskv3, you will also need to manually migrate your data from task2 to task3:
task import-v2 rc.hooks=0
More information on this is here: https://taskwarrior.org/docs/upgrade-3/
Updates may require up to 24 hours to propagate to mirrors. If the following command doesn't work, please retry later:
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2025-dc59c91697

I did a fresh install without importing earlier tasks. So importing task2 to task3 not tested. I created a fresh task file after installation and played a little with the tool. Works fine with adding and showing tasks and so on (testing basic functions:
task,task add, ... calendar, ... information, ... show and some others).I tested
task-3.4.1-2.fc42.x86_64.rpmon F42 KDE Spin (confined user account, sysadm_u), within a toolbox (default F42 image). If it works in the toolbox, it can be assumed to also work outside. Nice tool, I was just curious, thanks for maintaining :)I marked both bugs as solved as the tool would not work if these two issues would have not been solved.
