It looks like this actually introduces a new dependency from tesseract-libs → tesseract that wasn't there before, via tesseract-libs → tesseract-common → tesseract-langpack-eng → tesseract. It doesn't look like this is intentional?
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
I think this is intentional for fixing the bug introduced in the lasts upgrades don't?
I reopened the ticket because when testing the new tesseract and skanpage upgrades together at a live-session F42 1.1 iso it show me a new error message and skanpage did not sart. See the new screenshots for reference.
Sorry, further testing show me that this is not tesseract fault, but the new skanpage upgrade, so reverting karma here.

The update to tesseract-tessdata 4.1.0-10.fc42 fixed the dep issue @decathorpe noticed, so that's no longer an issue.
skanpage has dropped the direct requirement of tesseract it initially added to deal with the problem here, so as long as this update is stuck in -testing, skanpage is broken again. So to fix that, I'm submitting this for stable.
