This seems to have dep issues:

New dependency problems in the tested packages themselves:
package: rust-pyo3-ffi0.27-devel-0.27.2-1.fc43.noarch from file:///var/ARTIFACTS/work-plan_ajymusz/rmdepcheck/plan/data/repo
  crate(pyo3-build-config/default) = 0.27.2
  crate(pyo3-build-config/resolve-config) = 0.27.2
package: rust-pyo3-macros-backend0.27-devel-0.27.2-1.fc43.noarch from file:///var/ARTIFACTS/work-plan_ajymusz/rmdepcheck/plan/data/repo
  crate(pyo3-build-config/default) = 0.27.2
  crate(pyo3-build-config/resolve-config) = 0.27.2
package: rust-pyo3_0.27-devel-0.27.2-1.fc43.noarch from file:///var/ARTIFACTS/work-plan_ajymusz/rmdepcheck/plan/data/repo
  crate(pyo3-build-config/default) = 0.27.2
  crate(pyo3-build-config/resolve-config) = 0.27.2

Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.

This appears to be a false positive. I just downloaded the builds (bodhi updates download --updateid <this update>) and they all install correctly in a clean Fedora 43 mock chroot (mock -r fedora-43-x86_64 install ./*.rpm).

Sigh. It's a koji blip:

19:47:41 stdout: 2026-04-20 19:47:41,316 [ERROR] koji: HTTPError: 502 Server Error: Bad Gateway for url: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/kojihub
19:47:41 stdout: WARNING: download of rust-pyo3-build-config0.27-0.27.2-1.fc43 failed!

This is kinda specific to the Fedora CI pipeline; the openQA rmdepcheck pipeline, like all openQA update tests, retries the downloads several times to avoid this kinda blip.

I remember talking to @lecris about this recently but I can't find the ticket. I've suggested that the Fedora CI 'generic test' pipelines at least might want to adopt the openQA downloader, which I can extract from os-autoinst-distri-fedora and untie from a few openQA-specific assumptions.

I re-ran the test from Jenkins, it passed this time.

Installability issues reported in automated tests appear to be only due to changes in feature metapackages; Rust libraries need not provide upgrade paths for these.

The equivalent upgrade in Rawhide worked to build rust-jiter/python-jiter 0.14, which require PyO3 0.28, in local mock testing.
