I just updated to the latest f44, including localsearch-3.11.0-1.fc44.x86_64 and the machine does not crash anywhere after boot, I see the localsearch process running, the same as gnome-software (you claimed in that update that it's crashing for you too). Please, open a bug report and provide a backtrace of the crash. The coredumpctl can be of help.
This update's test gating status has been changed to 'passed'.
From our chat with decathorpe, downgrade to 3.11.rc helped, thus it's something added between the two versions. I'm going to remove the localsearch from this update, to not block all the other GNOME packages due to it.
As the f44 currently updates from the updates-testing repo and the machine is updated in "all or nothing", I'd say a usual update process brings in also the "hidden" dependencies. In any case, it's good to know, though I cannot tell whether the problem is in one the packages here or a problem in the ibus instead.
I'm going to merge this now, the only errors reported by the QA is about broken dependencies for gnome-shell-frippery extensions, but they did not release a GNOME 50 compatible version yet.

localsearch keep crashing
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.

For the record, the
localsearchproblem is (most likely) tracked upstream at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/localsearch/-/issues/438This update has been pushed to testing.
Things seem to work in general, on an upgraded system
requires installed ibus-1.5.34 otherwise left mouse button won't work (KVM)
ibus-0:1.5.34~rc1 issues with ibus-0:1.5.34~beta1
LGTM.
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes

I suppose it's filled upstream as https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/9100
For the ibus part, it's currently in testing: FEDORA-2026-e6f48632aa

Oops, I meant "push to stable", not "to merge".

I backported an upstream fix for the
