BZ#2449155 still under watch.

However, new syslog boot record never encountered before (with 2 RIPs before, 6 RIPs after) :

2026-03-27T04:11:08.158077+01:00 kernel: [drm:drm_mode_config_cleanup] *ERROR* connector Unknown-1 leaked!

Dunno what to make of this yet. Origin kernel source, added 2017 :

d352f352a377 2017-01-23T09:26:22+01:00 drm: Show leaked connectors upon unload
---
drivers/gpu/drm/drm_mode_config.c, l.547:
DRM_ERROR("connector %s leaked!\n", connector->name);

Note: Last commit of this source is unrelated, did not show up

e493c135980f 2026-03-25T11:13:20+01:00 drm: Fix use-after-free on framebuffers and property blobs when calling drm_dev_unplug

Note : 'per'` also does not work. Apparently since 6.19.6, see BZ#2452233 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2452233. "Regression perf stat [...]". As indicated in bug ticket, works for fc45, perf version 7.0.0-0.rc5.260325gbbeb83d3182ab.44.fc45.x86_64.

$ perf --version && perf stat -ddd ls
perf version 6.19.10-300.fc44.x86_64
Error:

Seems to work fine on bare-metal Lenovo ThinkPad L390 with UEFI and SecureBoot. No issues to report so far and kernel regression tests PASS.

Wrt. to that new kernel error 'drm:drm_mode_config_cleanup' : checked old logs back to 6.14 or so - no such error ever encountered. Then installed latest kernel '7.0.0-0.rc5.260325gbbeb83d3182ab.44.fc45.x86_64' - and Lo! - same error plus its 8 RIPs appeared in kernel log.

So this DRM kernel error seems to be the 'New normal', had no ill effects so far, either.
