FEDORA-EPEL-2016-ee164e782c created by daveo 6 years ago for Fedora EPEL 6

This is a version upgrade from 0.9.8 to 0.10.0. For the full changelog look here

This is a new package. The Open Lighting Architecture is a framework for lighting control information. It supports a range of protocols and over a dozen USB devices. It can run as a standalone service, which is useful for converting signals between protocols, or alternatively using the OLA API, it can be used as the back-end for lighting control software. OLA runs on many different platforms including ARM, which makes it a perfect fit for low cost Ethernet to DMX gateways.

python2-ola sub-package is new python packaging style with python replaced with python2. epel6 doesn't have automatic provides for python-%name so this update actually removes python-ola.

epel6 doesn't really support python2-pacakge naming at all so better use old naming.

does it need old naming only epel6? or do I have to rename for all the versions?

This update has been obsoleted by ola-0.10.0-3.el6.
