@anonymous - I don't think Temperror is related to this bug. I had that before and fixed it by installing a local caching named instance and using 127.0.0.1 in /etc/resolv.conf, instead of using name servers provided by my ISP.
No problems at all on my CentOS 7 machines with the new packages.

Just installed pypolicyd-spf-1.3.2-5.el7 and python-pyspf-2.0.11-5.el7 on a couple of servers and seems to be working fine
Work fine on my server both with and without python-ipaddress.
