I tested a fairly sizable Ansible playbook with 2.4.2.0-2 and this build. 2.4.2.0-2 ran out of memory, with this build the exact same test passed with much lower memory usage. This is a big deal for my use of Ansible and CentOS to get released.
I'm not in the loop at all on the Extras vs. EPEL debate for Ansible, I'd just like one of the two projects to issue an update to 2.4.3.

ansible was restored to rhel 7 extras. So deprecation of package should happen again on epel7.
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
It's going to be removed from extras I have been reliably told. Will try and get folks to make some sort of announcement.
It was re-added to extras some days ago:
It may be going to removed from Extras, but this has not happened yet. Until then, having an update in EPEL is against the EPEL policy: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL/GuidelinesAndPolicies#Policy

Works for me
We've tested the openshift installer (https://github.com/openshift/openshift-ansible) using this build as we require some 2.4.3 fixes and we found no problems with this build.
This update has been obsoleted by ansible-2.5.0-2.el7.
