Breaks ABI:
Error: Package: gdal-libs-1.11.4-3.el7.x86_64 (@epel-7-x86_64/7.5) Requires: libarmadillo.so.8()(64bit) Removing: armadillo-8.300.0-1.el7.x86_64 (@epel-7-x86_64/7.5) libarmadillo.so.8()(64bit) Updated By: armadillo-9.600.6-1.el7.x86_64 (epel-testing) ~libarmadillo.so.9()(64bit)
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
Ah, thank you for pointing that out. I normally maintain packages that don't have any dependencies, so I forget about that. I need to rebuild all the EPEL7 packages that depend on Armadillo and resubmit.
This update has been unpushed.
Note that there may be other non-packaged users of armadillo out there - it's generally frowned upon to break ABI in EPEL if possible to avoid it.
That's true, I think the better idea here will be to update to the newest Armadillo 8 version.
