Either this lib (nx-libs-3.5.99.26-1.el7) or one of the following libs related to it has a bug. List of rpms I had to downgrade to version 3.5.99.25-4.el7:
nx-libs-3.5.99.26-1.el7
libXcomp-devel-3.5.99.26-1.el7
nxagent-3.5.99.26-1.el7
nx-proto-devel-3.5.99.26-1.el7
nxdialog-3.5.99.26-1.el7
libXcompshad-3.5.99.26-1.el7
libNX_X11-3.5.99.26-1.el7
libXcomp-3.5.99.26-1.el7
Problem occurs with server side freenx 0.7.3.41.el7 and clients connecting from Windows using NX 3.5.0.9 to any desktop environment. Problem is that the windowed screen does not fill the whole client view. For example, the client window is 1920x1017 while the server desktop size is 1174x674 (looks like arbritary value). Using xrandr -s 1920x1080 in a terminal remotely resizes the desktop but keeps the screen :0 output fixed to the earlier arbritary value.
Problem does not occur with X2Go server/client.
