i tried the test cased but i can't reproduce it, gnome-software don't show new updates.

The application works as expected, although some of the test cases cannot be tested, because Fedora 28 has not yet been branched out of the rawhide. As I was told, you cannot upgrade to rawhide directly, so those will have to wait.
